Hi! I’m Harriet. I’m the editor of Kinfolk magazine, a contributor to the Financial Times, and host of the Southbank Centre’s podcast.

I like longform interviews, odd corners of culture, and writing about the co-optation of feminism by The Bad Guys.

My work has appeared in The Guardian, 1843 magazine, The New Statesman and The Independent and been published in two books: The Life of a Song and The Kinfolk Entrepreneur.

In a not-so-distant past life I was a journalist in Beirut and Phnom Penh. I now live in London, and spend my free time pasta making and power lifting.
